I am a native of St. Matthews, S.C. and the salutatorian of the graduating class of 1994 of Calhoun County High School. I am married and the proud mother of a fourteen year old daughter.  For over 20 years, I have been employed as a math teacher in this school district. My teaching experiences include teaching subjects such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry Honors, Math for Technologies 1 and 2, HSAP Remediation and Adult Education GED Math. Currently, I teach SCCCR Algebra I and  I am the Freshman Academy Lead Teacher at Calhoun County High School.   I am also a National Board Certified Math teacher. My philosophy of teaching is “If a child cannot learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn”—Ignacio Estrada. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with her family, mentoring and shopping.
