I am a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University with a Master’s in English and African American Literature. I graduated Claflin University with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Education and certificate in Gender Studies. I am proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Throughout my collegiate experience, I have obtained research experience and student oriented opportunities. One of these positions base in prison education and recidivism through the Ronald E. McNair program. I am an avid researcher on issues that restrict the youth of today. To change this dynamic, I am a “change agent” for A Change for Change, which assists predominantly African American students in understanding their purpose and prospective financial health. Outside of my educational ventures, I am an avid player of video games and I love to design jeans, jackets and shirts.
