I was raised in Orangeburg, South Carolina.   I have 2 children and 2 fur babies.  I enjoy the fishing, hunting, kayaking, exploring the outdoors, reading, and scrapbooking.  I have 20+ years of experience as an academic librarian and high school library media specialist.  I believe that education, reading, and information literacy skills are the keys to success.  I am passionate about reading and teaching our youth the information literacy skills they need in order to be successful academically and to be informed, productive citizens in our ever expanding world of information.
