I have taught US History, Government, Economics, Psychology, Law Education, and am currently teaching College and Career Readiness. I am also the Technology Coach here at Calhoun County High School.  My class focuses on what students need to know to do well on the ACT, SAT, and Workkeys test.  Also, I work with my students on what they need to know to get into the college that they want or get the job that they want.  We look at colleges in the US, finiancial aid needs, what you need to graduate High School vs. what colleges require, etc. I have taught in Berkeley County for 2 years, Orangeburg School District 3 for 6 years and I have been at CC for the past 5 years.

I am the Student Council advisor at CC. I have been an advisor for Student Council for 4 years here at CC and for a year at my previous school.  I am a member of the technology team here at CC helping our Facutly and Students with technology issues.

I am a native of Calhoun County.  I was born and raised here and attended Guinyard Elementary.  I attended the Universtiy of South Carolina for my Bachelors and Master's degree. I love history and technology.  Where we come from can tell us so much! As the famous saying goes "If you do not know your history you are doomed to repeat it."  Outside of school I am a member of the St. Matthews Youth Sports Board, a member of the University of South Carolina Arts and Sciences Board, I love crafting, being outside, and traveling.  To me education is the door way to anything you want in life.  Anyone can learn! It's just that everyone does not learn the same!
