On Satursday January 7, 2023, members of the CCHS track team competed in the USATF Indoor Youth Track Challenge at USC in Columbia, SC. Jadin Scott placed 1st in the Shot Put event for the 15/16 age group while his brother Daveon Scott placed 2nd in the 17/18 age group for this event. Jailese Fludd finished 3rd in Long/Triple Jumps for the 17/18 age group. Ahmir Smith placed 3rd in the 60 Meter Dash for his heat, and Theron Cokley placed 4th in the 60 Meter Hurdles for his heat. Congratulations to the track team for these wins during this indoor event. The track team's outdoor season begins March 4, 2023.
