This student group is for promotion of positive expressions of art through poetry, songwriting, musicianship, the spoken word, speeches and rap etc. All students are encouraged to develop their gift for public performances designed to inspire and encourage others to embrace cultural diversity that promotes a positive message that supports a positive lifestyle.

Fellowship of Christian Students

This is a voluntary organization involving students who profess to be Christians.


GAMING

Students will bring their own games to share and may create games of their own.


GIRLS LEVITATING
Mrs. King and Ms. Davenport
This group is committed to opening a world of possibilities for girls. Our mission is to build positive self-esteem in order to empower girls to reach their full potential. This movement will be one in which girls can build the mindset and use the tools to take action and inspire each other. The girls should understand that application of the strength of the female spirit and the power of education can change the world.


INTRAMURAL SPORTS

Students will compete in intramural sports. Limited to 40 members.


JAG CAREER ASSOCIATION
Mr. Farmer
This is a student leadership club. Students will develop leadership and team building skills. The club is open to anyone and is limited to 30 students.


JEWELRY DESIGN
Ms. Rivers and Ms. Gressette
Save money! Be en vogue! Express your style! You are invited to join the Haute Couture Jewelry Design Club where you will learn simple techniques to create unique earrings, necklaces, bracelets and pendants. In some cases, you will even be able to create your own designs from various media. You will be amazed at how simple it is to produce a jewelry piece that many people will compliment you on and ask where you purchased it from. This is a one of a kind experience.

MULTICULTURAL CLUB

This club will further develop the interests and understanding different cultures, its people, and its countries; to incorporate the cultural and communicative aspects of the cultures curriculum into activities that will promote awareness and interest in
language, life, and culture.


PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

Students will use cameras to learn about photography and submit photographs to various school publications.


PING PONG

Students will learn to play ping pong and compete during club meetings.


PUZZLES

This is a club where students solve all kinds of puzzles using paper, smart board, etc. Lots of fun!!!


GOSPEL CHOIR

Students will be signing gospel music.


SAINTS BATTALION COLOR GUARD AND DRILL TEAM
Major. O’Neal and First Sgt Jackson
The JROTC color guard and drill teams perform individual, squad, and platoon drill movements with and without weapons.
You must be a current member of JROTC or have permission from the instructors.


SCIENCE CLUB

The purpose of the Science Club is to encourage and promote different studies of science through hands-on activities.


STUDENT COUNCIL

Student Council members will represent the interests of the entire student body of CCHS; to become involved in school and community service activities. (Members must meet candidate qualifications and are elected by the student body.)
